blue for the evening
blue for the moon
blue for the stars
blue for the sky
blue for the clouds
blue for the hills
blue for the grass
blue for the signs
blue for the storm
blue for the wind

i drag on blue
blue drags me along
along, along loneliness
vast distant lands
no one has ever seen

blue for the vastness
blue for the ugliness
blue for the whole world

i single out a point in the sky
and name it blue
