another uneventful day
but you have stolen my heart again
taken it from its place
the last glimmer of the sun
glimmering over the water
sitting here near the ocean
my t-shirt and jeans are damp
all i can see is you
the clouds have turned from white to grey
sunset has come at last
the battle is won my soul is gone
with all the things you said
and the battle between the mind and heart
just continues like a war raging
regions in my heart still untamed
has my heart stopped beating?
